A cool and raining start for today’s Parade. Temps should be in the low 40’s by Parade time, dress the kiddies warm. As I took my morning walk I noticed even with the cool and rainy conditions the community was getting geared up for the day. The Lions Clubs members were out setting up chairs, the Oakland Town workers were making their last minute checks and the food vendor’s were getting setup for the day. The only thing missing was the color, with the warm temps of late, the tree’s haven’t really gotten dressed for the Parade. So come out and enjoy the 51st Autumn Glory Parade.
