The Autumn Glory Grand Feature Parade, presented by the Town of Oakland and the Greater Oakland Business Association, will be held Saturday, October 10, 2026. Visitors gather to view regional bands, local professional and amateur floats, dance teams, dignitaries and more. The parade begins at 1 pm in downtown Oakland on Omar Street and runs down the length of 2nd Street, rounding Alder Street and then ending on 3rd Street near Fox’s Pizza Den.
Join Southern Garrett High School Marching Band for an exciting evening as they host the 49th Annual Autumn Glory Tournament of Bands! Starting at 6pm, talented marching bands from across the region will take the field to showcase their unique styles in a spirited competition for top honors. Experience the energy and dedication of these young performers as they captivate the audience with their skill and creativity. Bring your friends and family to cheer on your favorite bands and enjoy a memorable night of music and community spirit!
Biggest car show in Garrett County. Antique, Street Rod, Classic Car, Truck, Motorcycle & Tractor Show. Registration fee $20

Kids & kids at heart will bury their faces in 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream, gooey chocolate syrup, sprinkles & whipped cream at this annual contest. 15 – 25 contestants compete at a time by age group. $5 benefiting local charity, Garrett Mentors. 301.387.2580
